Gun shops work with anti-suicide program [More]So what's the gun shop's liability if they actively participate in the program and then miss one?
Were I an FFL, I would absolutely deny a transfer to someone I perceived to be irrational, such as a Democrat. But I wouldn't formalize it into a program that would open the door to a "knew or should have known" criminal or civil charge. To do so voluntarily strikes me as ... suicidal.
